SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST

I have been practicing speech therapy for nearly 4 decades. I have worked in preschools and high schools and as a teacher and a speech pathologist within an autism cluster. My experience includes providing speech therapy to children of all ages with intellectual disabilities, speech and language disorders, autism, developmental delays, and students with emotional and behavioral challenges.

I am excited about bringing private speech therapy to underserved communities where I can provide a positive impact by providing crucial services to those who would otherwise go without. This is a cause close to my heart. I believe everyone deserves access to the care they need to communicate effectively. I am passionate about bringing speech therapy to those who need it most.

TUTOR, READING SPECIALIST

I am an academic tutor and reading specialist. I have been serving struggling students for over 15 years. My experience spans from my role as a special education teacher, general education teacher, school-based special education leader, special education program specialist for the state, and a district-level education program specialist.

SpeakUp Learning allows me to provide a level of student-centeredness that is not available in the school setting. I am passionate about instructional decision-making for students who struggle academically and behaviorally and have several years of experience working in this arena. I believe in the importance of a culturally responsive approach to learning for underserved communities.

CAREER COACH

I am an academic tutor and district program specialist with 10 years of experience working with students with disabilities for Broward County Public Schools. I also bring 4 years of experience facilitating training for professionals in the education system to SpeakUp Learning.

I am thrilled to provide a customized approach to help individuals reach their maximum potential and achieve their post-secondary goals. I love seeing the growth and making connections with others to increase confidence and improve their quality of life.
